A unique view you can only experience from the sea

Experience the beauty of the Mourne Mountains while relaxing in our comfortable ten

Ian Kelly, Mourne Sea Tours

After my wife and I spent many years visiting Newcastle, we decided to relocate to this picturesque seaside town back in 2019. Recently retired from a senior corporate position that took me all over the world, I was looking to settle somewhere special. I certainly found that in Newcastle. From the moment I set foot here, I was captivated by the amazing scenery and local history — the magnificent Mourne Mountains sweeping down into the sea is a sight to behold.

Within days of arriving, I’d volunteered to join the RNLI lifeboat crew. And my first day out at sea is a memory that will stay with me forever. As the lifeboat approached the harbour, I was struck by the breathtaking backdrop of the Mourne Mountains from sea — a unique view I’d never seen before from land. From that moment, something inside of me was changed forever and I decided there and then I would spend my retirement helping others — young or old — experience this unbelievable sight. If you want to learn more about Newcastle, or my company Mourne Sea Tours please give me a call, I’m always happy to chat!

Thanks to her large deck area, there’s plenty of space to sit or walk around comfortably, making the most of the sunshine. While the clever shape of the hull improves buoyancy and wave handling capability, making it very stable in all sea conditions.
